White & Black is born from the encounter between Giorgia Maddamma and Fernando Suels Mendoza — two independent dancers, with similar yet different stories, united by a shared training at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen under Pina Bausch.

Black and white as a universal principle: yin and yang, feminine and masculine, light and shadow. An exploration of opposites that contain and generate each other, in an ongoing dialogue between two bodies and two dance histories.

Grieta, Riss, Crepa. Crack. A fault line. The rupture that opens between two people, two worlds, two ways of being. A duet that begins with rupture and asks whether it is possible to mend.
