Tracce

Murakami wrote that everyone leaves their mark in the place they feel belongs to them most. The space in which we live is transformed in relation to our way of living; more or less visibly, we leave traces of our presence through the consequences of our daily habits. Sometimes we forget that our own body is the representation of our history: it carries within it the traces of our past and past experiences. Like a geographical map, it indicates where experiences are located and which emotions are associated with them. Unlike “classical memory”, which is activated by cognitive recollections, body memory is activated by real physical memories, through sensations and physiological reactions.

This is why our language, that of movement, expresses the purity of our being. Through our artistic language we will tell the stories of each of the participants, transforming them into traces of music and movement, and with the support of the art of sculpture we will aim to ‘visualise’ our story and make it eternal. The languages ​​of the show are developed through three thematic workshops: Music, Dance, Sculpture during which the objective is to research and discover a new movement vocabulary, the musical and singing aptitudes of the inmates and introduce them to the discovery of the world of sculpture.

The interest and educational priority, or rather the real theme that we want to develop, is the achievement of the inner universe of the inmates, a universe to be discovered and brought to light, in order to guide each of them to describe their world in a personal way and make their vision universal and theatrical.
