M-Minotaurus is a creation freely inspired by texts by Dürrenmatt, Lang, and Borges that reinterprets the myth of the Minotaur, overturning its point of view: not a monster, but a human being trapped in the labyrinth of their own difference.
The Minotaur is capable of desire, of feeling, of beauty. It is not the beast that needs to be slain, but the inability to love what is different.
The female figure of Ariadne — sister, executioner, beloved, victim — runs through the entire narrative, while the chorus, drawn from the Greek tradition, watches over and accompanies the events. A reflection on diversity, on the labyrinth as a space of identity, on the violence that society exercises on those who do not conform.
